Personal information

Whiteout Tools Lab may receive your name (handle) and contact details when you contact us. We use such information solely to respond to your inquiry.

Aggregated simulator usage data

What you calculate in the Bear Hunt Simulator is sent and aggregated automatically as anonymous statistics in order to build the generation stats (hero pick rates, popular builds and scores), and the aggregated results are published on this site. The data sent is: the selected generation, rally-leader heroes (INF/LAN/MKS) and their gear levels, joiner heroes, troop tier, Fire Crystal level, attack/lethality %, troop counts, estimated damage, the correction factor, and the measured damage if you enter one in the calibration field. Measured damage is used only to check the simulator's accuracy and is never published, individually or in aggregate. There are no fields for alliance names, in-game IDs or names, and none are sent. The data is not linked to cookies or advertising IDs.

To avoid counting the same person twice we store a hash of a random ID generated in your browser (kept in local storage), and a salted hash of the sender's IP address to prevent flooding; the address itself is not stored. Data is stored on servers of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) via Cloudflare Workers / D1. Inputs that cannot occur in the actual game are excluded from the figures.

Press "Opt out" in the simulator's result panel to stop sending from that device and delete the data already sent. Nothing is recorded for visitors from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland.

Review submissions (generation stats)

The "Generation stats" section and the Bear Hunt Simulator's submit feature collect, only when you press the submit button, the following as anonymous statistics that are aggregated and published on this site: days since your server launched, spending tier (self-reported), rally-leader heroes (INF/LAN/MKS), troop ratio, and optionally damage per rally, Fire Crystal level and gear levels. We do not collect alliance names, in-game IDs, names or any other identifying information.

To limit repeated submissions we store a salted hash of the sender's IP address; the address itself is not stored. Submissions are stored on servers of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) via Cloudflare Workers / D1, and Cloudflare Turnstile is used to block abuse. An "edit key" saved in your browser lets you update or delete your own submission. If you no longer have the key, contact us with its first 6 characters and we will delete the entry. See Methodology for how figures are computed.

Published reviews (one-liners)

The optional "one-liner" (up to 200 characters) and display name (up to 16 characters) on the submission form are published as a review on the generation page together with your build, tier and date. Do not include real names, in-game IDs, contact details or anything else that identifies you. Submissions containing links or abusive wording are rejected. Reviews that receive a number of reports are hidden automatically pending operator review, and the operator may hide reviews that violate the guidelines without notice. You can edit or delete your own review with the edit key issued at submission.

Data stored in your browser

Our tools save some of your settings (troop-ratio presets, display language, etc.) in your browser's local storage. These settings stay on your device (what is sent for statistics is described under "Aggregated simulator usage data" above). You may delete it anytime via your browser.
